While many believe that God is real, some doubt whether or not there is really a devil. How do we know there is a real devil? Because the Bible says there is, and his name is Satan. Satan has been around since before the creation of man and he will be around until he is ultimately done away with by God and cast into the lake of fire! That being said, we as believers have the arduous task of living our Christian lives in war with him and his principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12).
